| There
are at least three major categories of "fasteners" that at some
point need to be extracted from material that you need to recover and
reuse: nails, brads and staples. To extract them, you need leverage and
gripping power, along with the ability to "dig". The Nailjack's
exclusive patent pending "Hammer Tap" allows you to drive the
points of the Nailjack into the wood, allowing extraction. We all know that the claw of a hammer does not "grip" and it cannot hope to grab fasteners with small heads such as finish nails and brad. Why waste a perfectly good piece of lumber? Why not be able to quickly and efficiently remove a fastener? The heads of nails and brads are typically driven slightly below the surface of the fastened workpiece so the fasteners are less visible. The Nail Jack pulls from the back of the material with ease! If you have to dig, then dig, grip and pull! In our video, you can watch as our early prototype (which has been dramatically improved) easily digs a nail after a couple of quick swings of the hammer. Powered nail guns are increasingly replacing hammers, and often drive nail heads below the workpiece surface. Nail guns typically have no provision for removing nails. Similarly, the use of staples in place of nails is increasing, and stapling tools also lack a means for removing fasteners. Enter the revolutionary new Nail Jack, which let's you dig, grip and remove! Watch for the upcoming accessories for the Nail Jack that will allow you to bring a single tool to the job, while leaving two or three back in the truck! |
